With more than 40,000 unfilled technology jobs in Maryland, many experts are wondering if the problem can be rectified by simply changing how we teach the next generation. Think’s Ed Mullin is one of them.

In a recent op-ed for the Baltimore Business Journal, Ed shared how the lack of trained workers is hurting Maryland’s current economic outlook, and the prospects for growing the economy in the future. Unlike some neighboring states, Ed sees Maryland as ill-equipped to provide the instruction today’s students need to compete in tomorrow’s workforce. Ed shares why this growing lack of qualified workers is forcing tech companies to look elsewhere, in states where a surplus of terrific candidates is readily available.
