Marketing is Changing Every Day
Is Your Company or Organization Adapting Accordingly?
What may have been a great marketing strategy two years ago might not work today or may not be nearly as effective. Algorithms are changing, search patterns are shifting, and even the audience’s state of mind can be very different due to world events and the state of the economy.
Companies need to focus on maintaining consistent branding and messaging while adapting to the current market. It’s important to remain flexible and be prepared to continue making changes.
Here are a couple of examples: AI, two years ago, we only heard about it, but today it’s here to stay. AI is quickly becoming a major search tool like Google, especially for younger generations. Does your organization know how to ensure it can be found?
Another example is Facebook. If you’re still posting daily and putting related links in your captions, you’re falling behind. Facebook now prefers you schedule your first comment and put your links there instead.
LinkedIn is another case. The platform was once known primarily for business networking, but now it wants to become more of a trust building platform, utilizing AI for searchability and insights for professionals. They are looking for more engagement, newsletters, videos, and thought leadership.
That’s not to mention paid ads! For paid advertising, algorithms and best practices, including preferred dimensions, visuals, and formats, are updated on a regular basis. Are you getting the most value for your investment?
Keeping up with these daily changes can be challenging even for marketing professionals; it often takes a team with specialized knowledge to stay ahead of the curve. If you think you might have some questions, we are happy to help and can set up a call.
