In his 23-year career as a Senior IT and Operations Executive, Shamir has proven success in both the private and public sectors. Currently, as VP & Managing Director of Government Services & CTC at Think, Shamir has responsibility for driving growth and optimizing processes as well as day to day program oversight for a large federal contract with operations responsibility for 200 team members and an annual contract value of $70M. Shamir brings a deep understanding of what the government needs to achieve operational excellence and delivers this level of service by tapping into private sector best practices and his vast industry experience.

Shamir started his career at T. Rowe Price where he oversaw administration and financial management for large project portfolios across the enterprise. Over the course of his 13-year tenure, Shamir ensured the alignment of business objectives through business process re-engineering using lean six sigma approaches. He later shifted his talents to the public sector working at Think and later at HighPoint Digital, where he gained extensive experience and knowledge of what it takes to succeed for the Government working in various leadership roles for several large Federal contracts. Currently functioning in a Senior Program Manager role, he oversees all contract requirements and ensures that performance outcomes are aligned with Government performance standards.

From his extensive experience building and managing teams, adaptability and focus on outcomes are critical to his success. Shamir developed a framework called the 4 A’s of Consulting (Act like the client, Actively listen, Anticipate needs, and Answer questions before they get asked). Following this framework has transformed the effectiveness of his teams resulting in operational excellence.
