C# Programmer / Support Specialist
We’re looking for a season Database Administrator who has experience managing while also designing, implementing and supporting large databases using Oracle; SQL would be a plus.
Key Duties
- Responsible for all database architecture decisions, physical and logical layers, data modeling and data migration
- Responsible for hands on development work as well as establishing guidelines, review and governance of database development work
- Educating teams on best practices and ensuring database environments are running smoothly and efficiently
- Manage a team of vendors that provide services for database support
- Responsible for developing project plans and schedules for major database initiatives
- Lead a team of PL/SQL developers
- Responsible for providing support for database, performance monitoring and tuning
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree; or substituted work experience
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Hands on experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server
- Working knowledge of TFS or other code versioning tools
- Experience with data modeling and data architecture
