Think Systems, Inc. Prepares for More Growth, Hiring Matthew McCaffer to Lead New Sales Department

BALTIMORE, MD, April 12, 2022- Think Systems Inc., a privately-owned national management consulting firm that provides both private and public entities with organizational solutions and strategic hiring, announced today that it has hired Matthew McCaffer as Director of Sales. 

McCaffer will be responsible for the new sales department’s daily operations and growing the department. He will report to Think’s President of Commercial Services Joe Poling and be critical to building a team of sales professionals that expand and strengthen Think’s customer base.

Before joining Think, McCaffer was a Senior Executive at International Development Services where he developed and led a team of 25-30 outside sales representatives that generated over 100 million dollars in management consulting revenue between 2017 and 2021. Over that four-year period, he turned around a struggling sales team to become one of the top sales divisions within the company. His extensive experience in mentoring new hires has allowed him to develop dozens of highly successful representatives from diverse backgrounds.

He has meticulously studied and analyzed clients’ day-to-day operations, current financial standing, and executive strategy to tailor solutions that meet each organization’s unique needs. He believes that too many salespeople start selling before they understand what’s most important to their client, often trying to solve a symptom of the problem instead of asking the necessary questions to get to the root of it. McCaffer is committed to developing a sales culture that seeks true understanding before offering solutions – the importance of which cannot be overstated in a business environment that is becoming more sophisticated by the day.

McCaffer is based in Chicago. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry in 2014 from Lycoming College where he also played lacrosse.
